Apollo 11
A Saturn V you can fly, stage by stage.
An interactive Saturn V. Not a video: the vehicle is geometry you step through phase by phase, from the pad through staging and translunar injection to descent, with an inspection mode that explodes the stack, isolates a stage and labels it with leader lines.
The staging choreography was the hard part. Separation, tumble, second-stage ignition, interstage and escape-tower jettison all land within seconds of each other, and each one is several objects, a particle burst and a camera move that have to compose into a single readable shot. Timing that reads correctly is not something you can specify in advance. You build it, watch it, and move it a tenth of a second at a time.
I started with a procedurally generated rocket and threw it away once accuracy mattered more than flexibility. The GLB pipeline that replaced it is the reason the stack is worth inspecting at all.
